1884-CC Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS-63 in Old Rattler Holder

The Carson City Mint, built at the peak of the silver boom to facilitate minting of silver coins from silver in the Comstock Lode, was established in Carson City, Nevada. The Mint produced a variety of gold and silver coins from 1870-1892, but only produced Morgan Dollars for 13 years (1878-1885, 1889-1893), making the Carson City Morgan Dollars the lowest minted and most valuable in the series.
This 1884-CC PCGS MS-63 Morgan Silver Dollar is a bit spotty on the obverse and blast white on the reverse. The coin is in an old PCGS Rattler Holder. The PCGS price guide lists this coin at $230.00.
