1935-P Washington Quarter AU-55

John Flanagan, a student of the famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens designed the Washington Quarter in 1932. The Washington Quarter was originally designed to be a one year commemorative coin to commemorate the birthday of our first President  George Washington, and the traditional design was kept to date. There are two key dates in the series, the 1932-S and 1932-D, along with 3 doubled-die obverses and 2 over dates. This 1935-P AU-55 Washington Quarter shows nice luster and sharp detailed strike.
