1935 G $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate XF-AU

ThiSilver Certificate notes are a type of representative money printed from 1878 to 1964 in the United States as part of it's circulation of paper currency. They were produced in response to silver agitation by citizens who were angry by the Fourth Coinage Act, which had effectively placed the United States on a Gold Standard. The certificates were initially redeemable in the same face value of Silver Dollar Coins, and later in raw silver bullion. This 1935-G $1 Silver Certificate Blue Seal Note shows very nice features. There is a minor fold in the middle. The bill has no or wrinkles or rips to speak of and the paper quality is crisp. This bill is a fine addition to your currency collection.
