Barber Halves
The Barber Half Dollar designed by Charles Barber was minted from 1892-1915. The obverse of the Barber Half consists of a liberty head with cap and wreath. This figure was inspired by both classical Greek and Roman models and by designs of various 19th- century French coins. As there are just a few key dates, so the Barber Half Dollar is a more affordable set to complete.
This 1908-S Barber Half Dollar shows nice VF-30 quality and detail. The reverse has been cleaned making this a more affordable coin.
