Walking Liberty Halves
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was minted from 1916-1947. The coin, designed by Adolph A. Wienman is considered one of the most beautiful designed silver coins in American coinage, so beautiful, that the obverse of the Walker is used on the obverse of the American Silver Eagle today. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar has a long run of years along with 5 key dates 1916-P, 1916-S, 1921-P, 1921-D and 1938-D, making this a wonderful set to put together.
